Elevator repair technician wanted in Miami County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Miami County, Kansas. The job is on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes.
