Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ingawa, Katsina State. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals You will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
