Garden maintenance worker — Jo Daviess County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. The job is at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
