Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels 6+ years on the tools preferred.
