Stainless steel welder wanted in Barkin Ladi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
