Immediate opening: we are hiring a halal butcher in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
