MIG/MAG welder wanted in Chatham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Chatham County, North Carolina. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
