Garment presser wanted in Lexington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Lexington County, South Carolina. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
