House painter wanted in Orleans County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a house painter in Orleans County, New York. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. You should have: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers On a typical shift you will hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps.
