Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Part-time with flexible hours.
