Foundry labourer wanted in City of Hampton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in City of Hampton, Virginia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
