On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 4+ years on the tools preferred.
