Immediate opening: we are hiring a plastering hand in Lafayette County, Mississippi. You will be based at a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 4+ years on the tools preferred.
