Lift technician — Humboldt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Humboldt County, Nevada. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
