Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Smith County, Mississippi. The job is at a power plant. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
