Restoration bricklayer wanted in Clackmannanshire

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel 6+ years on the tools preferred. £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
