Great opportunity: meat cutter (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Gates County, North Carolina. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
