Fabricator-welder • Ionia County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ionia County, Michigan. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
