Safety officer • Aiyedire, Osun State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Aiyedire, Osun State. Day to day you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦175,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
