Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Fort Bend County, Texas. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
