Sand plant operator wanted in DeKalb County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in DeKalb County, Missouri. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
