Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in City of Covington, Virginia. You will work in an automotive parts factory. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day-to-day duties: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch Rotating shifts.
