Immediate opening: machine operator (earthworks) (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Wayne County, Indiana. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones 1+ years on the tools preferred.
