The role involves hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; insulate and ventilate the roof void; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
