Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Little River County, Arkansas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
