Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Wyoming County, New York. The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
