Shuttering fixer • Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. You will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
