Immediate opening: cnc production machinist (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Benzie County, Michigan. You will be based in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
