Now hiring: PVC window installer (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Transylvania County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres On a typical shift you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
