Great opportunity: gas metal arc welder (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Ringim, Jigawa State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₦250,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
