Rebar fixer • Stafford County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Stafford County, Virginia. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
