Aluminium fitter — Herefordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Herefordshire, England. The job is on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware Requirements: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. £3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
