Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC technician in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
