Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will be based on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE On the job you will handle: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
