Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Washington County, Rhode Island. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. Your main tasks: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails You should have: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Rotating shifts. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
