Fabrication workshop technician • Audubon County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Audubon County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
