Join our team: we are hiring a pastry baker in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch.
