Steel fixing chargehand • York County, Maine

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in York County, Maine. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
