Immediate opening: rebar installer (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will work on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
