Fabricator-welder — Newberry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Newberry County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
