Lift maintenance fitter • Zaria, Kaduna State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Zaria, Kaduna State. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
