HSE officer • Orange County, Vermont

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Orange County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
