Vacancy available: estate gardener (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Swain County, North Carolina. You will work in a residential garden complex. The role involves repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
