Urgent requirement: single needle operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Kings County, New York. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
