Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line.
