You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
