Gas commissioning technician — Ballard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. You will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
