We are recruiting: aluminium TIG welder (Montana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Lincoln County, Montana. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
