Now hiring: tiling assistant (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Oceana County, Michigan. The job is on a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Your main tasks: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
