Cnc production machinist wanted in Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
